The DG/IS provides the information and communication systems that enable the ECB to carry out and support the missions of the Eurosystem and the European Central Bank System (SEBC). In addition, THE DG/IS has put in place an IT governance framework (for example. B architecture, security and service management) to facilitate the provision of IT services. The objective of the internship is to enable successful candidates to gain in-depth experience in a multinational and multicultural environment in the areas of information technology infrastructure and operations, business applications, IT governance, architecture or IT security. It will provide experience in conceptual, methodological and practical work on computer systems. In an ISO 20000 certified environment, ISO 27000 and ISO 9000, trainees can expect an in-depth view of the lifecycle of a European institution, business activities supported by IT applications and exposure to various IT challenges. Interns receive a mentor and are assigned to a team in one of the following six DG/IS services: interviews for internships are arranged by phone or Skype.
